It is no secret that I’m a HUGE Morgan Wallen fan. Yes, I’m aware of the word he said years ago and being part black it didn’t feel great to hear that from someone who I respect and love their music. I also know even I can say dumb things and hopefully grow from whatever mistakes I make; like to extend the same grace when applicable. Yes, I’m aware he talks about Whiskey and alcohol etc and it’s ironic since I don’t drink but I think of his drinking as a metaphor for whatever you use to cope with life - for me it’s Kombucha and Fencing and I just replace the ‘Her’ pronouns with ‘Him’ pronouns whenever I belt out one of his tunes like ‘Last Night’ or the classic ‘Chasin’ You.’

It seems that these days we cannot get a break from heartbreak. Whether it be from relationship heartaches, humanitarian crisis and violence going on, or whatever heartbreaking story is on the news. One thing we can all agree on is during times where everything seems up in the air it’s even harder to come to terms with our own short comings and even admitting the hopes/ dreams we had for someone crumbled. Morgan Wallen’s 4th Studio Album is reflective and all the emotions of being human. Everything from anger, sadness, infatuation, deep love, shortcomings, acceptance, and even holding out hope for that one love.

The musical sensation Morgan Wallen, was born and raised in Tennessee and has been making great music for years now, with such hits such as “Thinkin’ Bout Me”. In 2025, Morgan Wallen came out with his fourth full length studio album I’m The Problem with 37 songs. From the first song “I’m The Problem” which is an acoustic song with produced beats that has an incredible outro that is an ode to classic Country but a nice infulence of Pop music with the vocals in harmony and the acoustic guitar, I was truly moved from this album. With fun dance songs such as “Miami” and “Kiss Her In Front Of You” to moving loving songs such as “If You Were Mine”, “Eyes Are Closed” and “Just In Case”.

I give this album a 10 out of 10, and has been on repeat since the release and I forsee it being on repeat daily. This album overall is an amazing showcase of Morgan Wallen’s talents, vocal and songwriting abilities. For me this was a much needed love letter to the wonderful complexity of being Human. Through everything we can say “if I’m the problem, you might’ve been the reason” while also holding on to “just in case you wake up wantin’ me out the blue..”
